Donna Graham Williamson
It is a sad day when a great man from Flin Flon passes. Bill had good old day stories that no one could remember, he had a sense of humour, he remembered connection to my mom and dad; always knowing I was Wayne’s daughter and he bought records at foto music from my dad when he was a child, etc etc! One day years ago he came driving with me and he recalled buildings I did not recognize, addresses of doctor colleagues of his father and he pointed out the houses they had resided in way before I was born. He knew the colour of the socks and the time of his sister’s Wedding. I learned that he had memorized the credits of the movies and could recite their lines. It is a lesson to those of us left behind to see inside a person and know they are completely whole, genuine, and worthy of so much more in life. In December he still knew my name—-Donna Graham : Wayne Graham he would state when I said “who am I?” As I saw the twinkle of recognition. God bless this man on his journey to replay his records with maybe my dad.
