Condolence: Iris was the first person I called when I arrived as a young, inexperienced teacher in l975. She helped me find my way around the city, and settle in Creighton. She was a steadfast friend and supporter throughout my teaching years. I loved her sense of humour and her directness. My sympathy to her beloved family.

Condolence: Leon and Wiebe families: Our condolences on the passing of Iris. What a woman she was. I have not seen her in person for a very long time, but have such a vivid picture of her in my head. She was a woman you would not forget for sure. Tall, strong, that determined jaw, and a hairstyle that was hers forever. I know she has struggled with her health lately, which would be difficult when you are a vibrant person. She lived to a good age, but it still is so difficult. We are thinking of all of you💗💔
