Graham Allan Craig passed peacefully on September 4, 2020 in his 90th year. Graham will be greatly missed by his wife Grace, children David Craig (Carol) of Creighton, Carla Craig of the The Pas, Jane Coates (Dean) of Cobourg ON, grandchildren Graham Craig of Elko, Nevada, Courtney (Ryan) Biberdorf of Creighton, Sarah Coates (Bryce Williams) of Woodstock ON, Deanna Coates of Toronto ON, and great grandchildren Hailey and Hayden Biberdorf, his brother Barry (Joanne) of Winnipeg, a niece and two nephews.

To the Craig family - when I was 15 years old, Graham would pick me up at home at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and take me to his office to learn how to put in hard contact lenses, then take them out etc. In those days you had to learn to wear hard contact lenses, slowly increasing the wearing time each day. I will never forget being picked up in his Karman Gia I believe. I thought it was such a cool sports car. He also reminded me each morning how to ensure I would not lose a contact lens, primarily down the sink. And made me take extra precautions. Contact lenses were not inexpensive in those days. I thought of Graham a lot over the years as I put in my contact lenses each morning. Remembering his instructions on not losing one. I can report that after 50 years of wearing contact lenses I have never lost one lens. I had hoped to be able to tell him that some day. My condolences to your entire family. Graham had a far reaching effect on many of us who were his patients in the 1960's. Peter Premachuk Jr.

Grahams wise council, calm voice and friendship will be missed by many of us who always depended on him for assistance and encouragement in our activities. Graham was a man of quality who shared his wisdom and good humour generously with all who knew him. Rest well Graham.

Grace and family..
so sorry to hear of Graham passing away. Death is an enemy for sure.
I'm sure you will have many happy memories to share with friends and family.
Graham was very kind and pleasant to me. I remember needing a bit of special care just when he was retiring...he came even in the evening to get me sorted out, when I'm sure that was the last thing he wanted to be doing! However, he never made me feel that way...he was kind and patient til I was satisfied! And he was always that way every time I saw him or talked to him.
I know that there are many ideas on what happens when we die, but the Bible has a wonderful promise that I know he would love to see..Revelation 21:3,4. I hope you can find comfort from that as I have.
Take care of each other
..know that you are thought of in love and sympathy

Our sincere condolences to Grace and the Craig family on the passing of Graham. We have very fond memories of Graham as he was Tanis's counsellor in the Rotary Exchange Program and also our family optometrist for many years before that. He had to be a saint to put up with Diane who if she wasn't blindfolded and walking into walls she was losing her glasses at the bottom of Beaver Lake. Warm hugs to all of you....I'm sure you have lots of great memories! Dale, Yvonne, Diane and Tanis
